Even though it’s an illustration and nobody will ever know that you were the reference model, it’s still kind of bums you out that they based it off the photo where your mouth was slightly open and your eyebrows tightened with (passing) contempt at the photographer that could not, or didn’t care to, remember your name.

Growing up with three older brothers there was never a shortage testosterone, fighting, or muscle cars (posters, junk yards, and project cars). Unlike the coyote, you gave up your dream; but you still got the AM sound and, of course, you’ve got the world.

Your father is a painter, and your grandfather is a painter, and his father was a painter, and so on. The Burns family has a long history of painting dinosaurs. Also, I miss the sopas.

That smile, who could resist that smile? Although there may not be anything actually wrong with your radiator, to see the joy it brings to the little guy’s face makes it well work the $86.17 for a checkup.

As snow covers your driveway for the second time today you decide to put down the shovel and walk towards Nino’s Place. The warmth the alcohol provides serves as a reminder: freedumb isn’t free.

On your way to pick up a loaf of bread from the neighborhood grocery you are reminded of the transient nature of life. You forget what you were supposed to pick up.
